Unlike a straight parlay, a round robin gives you partial protection — if one selection loses, you still collect on every combo that didn't include it.
Round robin odds are calculated by multiplying the decimal odds of each leg in every combination. Total cost = number of parlays × stake per parlay. This calculator does not account for the vig (juice) built into the odds.
What Is a Round Robin Bet?
A round robin is a set of every possible parlay combination from a group of selections. Instead of putting all your picks into one parlay (where everything must win), a round robin splits them into multiple smaller parlays.
For example, if you pick three NFL teams (A, B, C), a round robin generates:
3 two-team parlays: A+B, A+C, B+C
1 three-team parlay: A+B+C
Total: 4 separate bets
If team C loses, you lose the three-team parlay and one two-team parlay — but the A+B parlay still pays. With a straight three-team parlay, you'd lose everything.
Why Use a Round Robin?
Partial protection. A single parlay is all-or-nothing. A round robin lets some combos win even when one or two legs lose. The trade-off is higher total cost — you're placing multiple bets instead of one.
Round robins make sense when:
You like 3-5 picks and want exposure to all combos without the all-or-nothing risk
The individual legs have strong edges but you don't trust all of them equally
You want parlay-sized payouts with some insurance
They don't make sense when:
Your bankroll can't handle the total cost (which grows fast — 8 picks = 247 combos)
The vig on each combo eats your edge — every combo pays the bookmaker's margin

Is a round robin better than a parlay?
Neither is inherently better — they serve different purposes. A parlay maximizes payout when everything wins. A round robin costs more but gives you partial protection. If you're betting for entertainment with money you can afford to lose, parlays are simpler. If you're managing risk, round robins offer more control.
How much does a round robin cost?
Total cost = number of combos × stake per combo. Three picks at $10 per combo = 4 combos × $10 = $40 total. Five picks at $10 = 26 combos × $10 = $260. It scales fast.
Can I exclude certain combo sizes?
Yes — the calculator lets you toggle which combo sizes to include. You might only want 2-leg combos from 4 picks (6 combos) without the 3-leg and 4-leg parlays.
What's the difference between a round robin and a system bet?
